A Capital Event

After taking on Indiana’s second largest city in 1999, it didn’t take long for Lake City Bank to set its sights higher. Just 120 miles down the road from its headquarters in Warsaw, the state capital waited.

In 2006, Lake City Bank introduced itself to Indianapolis with a loan production office. It proved there was room for a community bank in a big city. After finding the right location and talented local people to run it, Lake City Bank opened its first full-service Indianapolis office in 2011.

The location was built from the ground up and designed as a regional headquarters. Customers could access all retail and commercial banking services and the loan team, and bankers had ample space for meeting with customers and prospects.

In the spirit of supporting its local communities, Lake City Bank donated $10,000 to Riley Children’s Hospital. It tacked on $50 for each new checking account opened as part of the grand opening events.

He said, “We recognize that no two customers have the same financial needs and know that customers don’t appreciate a cookie cutter approach to serving them. As a result, the Lake City Bank team gets to know our clients personally and professionally.”

By 2022, six Lake City Bank offices served the Indianapolis area.
