What have Lake City Bank’s diversity and inclusion efforts taught you so far?
I was raised in a small community with no diversity. Growing up, I was not aware of race, color, religion and gender identity. Now that I have four young girls, I want to make sure they know that not everyone is the same, and we are all different. Learning about bias, equity, equality and microaggression are a few things that being a part of the Diversity and Inclusion task force have taught me so far.
