Lake City Bank Announces Promotions

Lake City Bank is pleased to announce the following promotions.

Scott Bucher has been promoted to First Vice President, Home Lending Manager. Bucher leads the Mortgage and Home Equity Line of Credit (HELOC) teams. He has been with the bank for 17 years. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Manchester University and completed the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin. He is a Lighthouse Collective board member and volunteers with Heroes Camp and Transformation Ministries.

David Davis has been promoted to First Vice President, Commercial Banking Officer, in the bank’s Fort Wayne-based East Region. Davis develops relationships with commercial clients to provide financing and banking solutions. He has been in financial services for 35 years, 24 with Lake City Bank. Davis earned an associate degree from Purdue University, a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University, a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Indiana Wesleyan University and a master’s in business administration from Indiana University. He is also a graduate of Leadership Fort Wayne. Davis is active in the Fort Wayne community, volunteering in various roles with Iris Family Support, Science Central, McMillen Health, Junior Achievement of Northern Indiana, The Northeast Indiana Chapter of the Indiana University Alumni Association, and various other nonprofit organizations over the previous 35 years.

Karen Francis has been promoted to First Vice President, Retail Banking Regional Manager, in the bank’s South Region. Francis leads eight branches within the region, supporting office managers, leading sales efforts, serving on bank committees and assisting with small business loans. She has been with the bank for 41 years. Francis is board treasurer for the Mentone Chamber of Commerce. She is a member of Wheels of Fire Cancer Crusaders and Mentone-Akron Kiwanis. She volunteers with Junior Achievement and Habitat for Humanity.

Jody Meyer has been promoted to First Vice President, Retail Banking Regional Manager, in the bank’s Indianapolis Region. Meyer leads the region’s eight branches, supporting office managers, leading sales efforts, serving on bank committees and assisting with small business loans. She has been in financial services for 20 years, six with Lake City Bank. Meyer is board treasurer for the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) Indy Foundation.

Gavin Miller has been promoted to First Vice President, Commercial Banking Officer, in the bank’s Goshen-based Central Region. Miller develops relationships with commercial clients to provide financing and banking solutions. He has been with the bank for 24 years. Miller earned a bachelor’s degree in communications with a business minor from Indiana University. He is board treasurer for the Nappanee Unit of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Elkhart County and an organizing committee member of the Elkhart Community Leaders Prayer Breakfast.

Tori Platt has been promoted to First Vice President, Learning & Development Manager. Platt leads Lake City University, the bank’s corporate university that provides curated training courses to help support and develop employees throughout their careers. She has been with the bank for 26 years. Platt earned a bachelor’s degree in education from Hanover College. She has also completed the Indiana Bankers Association’s Leadership Development Program. Platt volunteers with the Kosciusko County Volunteer Tax Assistance (VITA) program.

Cameron Plew has been promoted to First Vice President, Commercial Banking Officer, in the bank’s Warsaw-based South Region. Plew develops relationships with commercial clients to provide financing and banking solutions. He has been with the bank for 21 years. Plew earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Valparaiso University. He completed the Indiana Bankers Association Commercial Lending School and the Kosciusko Leadership Academy. Plew is board vice president of the Syracuse Wawasee Rotary Club and its foundation. He is president of Redeemer Lutheran Church.

Allie Rhodes has been promoted to First Vice President, Retail Banking Regional Manager, in the bank’s Goshen-based Central Region. Rhodes leads the region’s nine branches, supporting office managers, leading sales efforts, serving on bank committees and assisting with small business loans. She has been with the bank for 11 years. She is finance chair for the Friends of the Club (part of the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Northern Indiana Corridor). She volunteers with Junior Achievement BizTown in Elkhart, the Boys and Girls Clubs and teaches Money Smart classes.

Steve Schumacher has been promoted to First Vice President, Retail Banking Regional Manager, in the bank’s Fort Wayne-based East Region. Schumacher leads the region’s nine branches, supporting office managers, leading sales efforts, serving on bank committees and assisting with small business loans. He has been in financial services for 32 years, 22 with Lake City Bank. Schumacher earned a bachelor’s degree in business at the Indiana University Kelley School of Business.

Kim Strawbridge has been promoted to First Vice President, Retail Banking Regional Manager, in the bank’s South Region. Strawbridge leads nine branches within the region, supporting office managers, leading sales efforts, serving on bank committees and assisting with small business loans. She has been with the bank for 16 years. Strawbridge is a board member of United Way of Whitley and Kosciusko Counties. She is an ambassador and lunch buddy with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northeast Indiana. Strawbridge volunteers with Wawasee School Corporation as a co-coordinator for Boomerang Backpacks.

Marshall Weadick has been promoted to First Vice President, Regional Credit Officer. Weadick monitors commercial loan credit quality in the bank’s Fort Wayne-based East Region and in the bank’s agricultural loan portfolio. He works with loan officers to structure and adjudicate loans. Weadick has worked in financial services for 15 years, 10 with Lake City Bank. Weadick earned a bachelor’s degree summa cum laude in economics and management from DePauw University and a master’s magna cum laude in business administration from the University of Notre Dame. He is a finance committee member with Iris Family Support Center, Inc. and Arts United of Greater Fort Wayne, Inc. 

Tabitha Williamson has been promoted to First Vice President, Corporate & Institutional Services Manager. Williamson is responsible for the development, implementation, sales and support of treasury management and other technology-driven products for business. She has been with the bank for 23 years. Williamson earned an associate degree in business marketing from Ivy Tech Community College and a bachelor’s degree in business management from Grace College. She holds the Certified Treasury Professional designation from the Association of Financial Professionals. She volunteers with Junior Achievement.

Donna Wolfe has been promoted to First Vice President, Project & Application Manager. Wolfe leads the Product and Application Management teams that align strategic initiatives and respond to the bank’s evolving software, automation and product development needs, leading to improved operations and customer experience. She has been with the bank for 34 years. Wolfe is a member of the Project Management Institute. She volunteers with CASA of Kosciusko County, Junior Achievement, Habitat for Humanity and with the bank’s Reality Store.

Dan Beechy has been promoted to Vice President, Corporate and Institutional Sales Officer. He collaborates with businesses to determine their banking needs and identify the best product solutions. He has been in financial services for 21 years, two with Lake City Bank. Beechy holds the Certified Professional designation from the Association of Financial Professionals. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business at the International Business College. He is a Science Central board and finance committee member and Cameron Chase Homeowners Association board president.

Bridget Camden has been promoted to Vice President, Business Banking Manager. Camden manages the Business Banking department and is a credit enhancement specialist for several types of specialty loans. She has worked in financial services for 11 years, seven with Lake City Bank. She has a bachelor’s degree in horticulture production with a minor in agribusiness management from Purdue University. She volunteers with Wabash County 4-H.

Kelli Cook has been promoted to Vice President, Retail Banking Officer, in the bank’s Rochester Office. Cook leads sales and service efforts in the branch, manages daily office operations and supports staff in their efforts to provide quality service and build customer relationships. She has been with the bank for 11 years. She is active in Tri Kappa and volunteers with Junior Achievement.

Rhonda Frank has been promoted to Vice President, Payroll Manager. Frank leads the payroll team and is responsible for payroll operations. She has worked in financial services for 25 years, seven with Lake City Bank. She earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from Ball State University and holds Society for Human Resources Management-Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) and Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certifications. She is Wawasee Theatre Booster’s board treasurer and volunteers with Read United and Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA).

Megan Ottinger has been promoted to Vice President, Credit Portfolio Manager. Ottinger manages the Credit Administration Portfolio Management and Reporting Team and contributes to process and system development for credit. She has been with the bank for 19 years. She has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Indiana Tech. Ottinger volunteers with Junior Achievement and with the Pierceton Elementary PTO.

Christoffer Penny has been promoted to Vice President, Credit Administration Officer. Penny leads a team of credit analysts who underwrite new and existing commercial loans. He has worked in financial services for eight years, six at Lake City Bank. He earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting, economics and finance from Huntington University. He holds the Risk Management Association’s Credit Risk Certification (CMC). He is vice president of the City of Huntington Redevelopment Authority and volunteers with Junior Achievement.

Penny Ramsey has been promoted to Vice President, Retail Banking Officer, in the bank’s Akron Office. Ramsey leads sales and service efforts in the branch, manages daily office operations and supports staff in their efforts to provide quality service and build customer relationships. She has worked in financial services for 47 years, 16 at Lake City Bank. Ramsey is a charter member and secretary/treasurer of the Mentone-Akron Kiwanis Club, Burket Bible Church treasurer, a Fulton County Extension Board member, and a member of the Purdue College of Agriculture’s Research, Extension and Teaching organization. She volunteers with Junior Achievement and the bank’s Reality Store.

Leslie Rutherford has been promoted to Vice President, Transaction Processing Manager. Rutherford leads the Deposit Operations, Electronic Document Services and Item Processing teams that support the bank’s daily operations, manage operational changes and provide accurate customer reporting and compliance. She contributes to the development, testing and implementation of new deposit products. She has been with the bank for 13 years. Rutherford earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration at Indiana Tech. She volunteers with the bank’s Reality Store.

Kim Vermillion has been promoted to Vice President, Retail Banking Officer, in the bank’s Argos Office. Vermillion leads sales and service efforts in the branch, manages daily office operations and supports staff in their efforts to provide quality service and build customer relationships. She has been with the bank for 18 years. She is an Argos Lions Club member. She volunteers with Junior Achievement and Greater Marshall County Children’s Resale.

Micaela Alvarez has been promoted to Assistant Vice President, Loan System Support Officer. Alvarez works with bank colleagues and third-party partners to develop, manage and launch commercial banking tools. She has been with the bank for four years. She volunteers with Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, the Kosciusko County Community Foundation, Junior Achievement’s BizTown and the bank’s Reality Store.

Quinten Bender has been promoted to Assistant Vice President, Senior Loan Administration Officer. Bender manages commercial loan documentation and closings, and helps review loans for policy compliance. He has been with Lake City Bank for six years. He earned a bachelor’s degree in finance at Indiana University – Purdue University Fort Wayne. He volunteers with the United Way Day of Caring and Junior Achievement. He is a weekly volunteer at Humane Fort Wayne.

Sandra Medina has been promoted to Assistant Vice President, HELOC Underwriter Officer. Medina reviews Home Equity Line of Credit (HELOC) applications and prepares closing documents and disbursements. She also originates and manages a portfolio of HELOCs. She has been with the bank for 16 years.

Luke Mungovan has been promoted to Assistant Vice President, Commercial Banking Officer, in the bank’s East team. Mungovan manages a customer portfolio and assists commercial banking officers with prospecting, customer communication and loan closings. He has been in financial services for 12 years, seven with Lake City Bank. He earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from Indiana University – Purdue University Fort Wayne. He is a Young Leaders of Northeast Indiana Leadership Institute graduate. Mungovan is board treasurer of the Risk Management Association of Northern Indiana and a Literacy Alliance board member. He is a Literacy Alliance math tutor and volunteers with Junior Achievement.

Katie Rowe has been promoted to Assistant Vice President, Retail Banking Officer, in the bank’s Elkhart East Office. Rowe leads sales and service efforts in the branch, manages daily office operations and supports staff in their efforts to provide quality service and build customer relationships. She has been with the bank for six years. She earned an associate degree in criminal justice at Kalamazoo Valley Community College. She volunteers with Junior Achievement.

Brandi Wampler has been promoted to Assistant Vice President, CIF & EDS Manager. She leads the bank’s Customer Information Files (CIF) and Electronic Document Services (EDS) functions in the deposit operations area. She has been with the bank for 27 years. She volunteers with Junior Achievement and the bank’s Reality Store.

Brooke Williams has been promoted to Assistant Vice President, Retail Banking Officer, in the bank’s Milford Office. Williams leads sales and service efforts in the branch, manages daily office operations and supports staff in their efforts to provide quality service and build customer relationships. She has been with the bank eight years. She is board treasurer for Junior Achievement serving Wawasee and a Leisure Living board member.

Chloe Damron has been promoted to One Call Center Officer. She manages training, employee development and coordinates staffing within the bank’s call center. She has been with the bank for four years.

Gita Kamdar has been promoted to Security Administration Officer. She provides technical support for employees, creates and maintains procedures, templates and training documentation for the department, and reviews applications. She has been with the bank for 18 years. She volunteers with Habitat for Humanity.

Stefani Rinehold has been promoted to Credit Administration Officer. She underwrites commercial and agriculture loans and trains junior credit analysts. She has been with the bank for four years. She earned an associate degree in accounting from North Central State College and a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Franklin University. She is a Dekalb County Young Farmers member. She volunteers with Junior Achievement’s BizTown and the Dekalb County Fair.

Blake Shearer has been promoted to Training Officer. Shearer coordinates and facilitates training efforts at Lake City University. He has been with the bank for nine years.

Malana Wood has been promoted to Retail Banking Officer in the bank’s Warsaw West office. Wood leads sales and service efforts in the branch, manages daily office operations and supports staff in their efforts to provide quality service and build customer relationships. She has been with the bank for six years. She volunteers with Junior Achievement and Greater Marshall County Children’s Resale.
